The Arenal spot is particularly popular among kitesurfers. For wingfoilers, the Can Pastilla spot is a better option. The ideal wind direction for Arenal is west/southwest. The entry is pleasantly flat and sandy, making it easy to launch kites. There are some palm trees along the beach. During the high season in summer, there are many swimmers. To the left of the entry point is the harbor's stone pier. About 200 meters to the right of the entry, there are some rocks and concrete slabs to be aware of.
Arenal consists mostly of narrow streets with limited parking spaces. Many are time-restricted. The best parking option is at the tennis court, where there are several parking spots. The side streets also offer good parking opportunities.
