Chalikounas Beach is on Corfu’s southwest coast—a long sandy beach with flat water near the shore and mild chop further out. A reliable NW thermal wind starts around midday at 10–20 kn, with gusts up to 20–23 kn. It’s ideal for beginners, as well as intermediate and advanced riders wanting freeride, wingfoil, or freestyle. Kite Club Corfu provides lessons, rental gear, and rescue support. Free parking is available right at the beach, and launching is safe and easy .
Parking is available right next to the beach, about 50 m from Kite Club Corfu. There’s ample free and unrestricted space, even during summer. The access road is partly unpaved, but easily passable.
