26.3°CLocated on the north coast of Kos, right opposite the funnel between Kalymnos and Pserimos, this spot benefits from a Venturi effect creating a reliable onshore NW Meltemi wind of 4–7 Bft. Mornings feature flat to choppy water, and small waves (0.5–1.5 m) develop in the afternoon – perfect conditions for windsurfing, wingfoil, foil, and freestyle. The shallow sandy beach ensures safe launching and a secure spot thanks to the onshore wind. The center provides lessons, equipment rental (Goya, JP), rescue boat, storage, and VDWS-certified instructors.
There is a large free parking area directly in front of the Caravia Beach Hotel and adjacent to the Marmari Windsurfing Center. Additional spaces are available along the access road and by the beach entrance. The road is easy to access, with paved and gravel sections.
